Shawn Vaiana is a co founder, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Lend Smart Mortgage, LLC. Shawn has over 18 years in the mortgage business starting as an originator and working his way up to branch manager and, eventually, owner and COO. Having a sales and originations background has given Shawn a unique ability to balance operational and sales related needs. He is known for his attention to detail along with an unparralled level of patience that has helped him gain the respect of all those who work with him.

Mr. Vaiana is a United States Air Force Veteran. He began in the industry as a Loan Officer after a career at Bally Total Fitness where he was in charge of over 100 health clubs across the Midwest.

Shawn has deep knowledge in origination, operations, HR, and facilities management. He has the ability to analyze P&L information and implement measures to ensure strong company fiscal stability and growth.

He is an avid boater who spends most weekends in the summer on the river with his long time girlfriend and boating family.
