Katie’s real estate career started with 4 years as a mortgage closer where under 40 percent of the Realtors in an office of over 1000 agents used their services in the beginning. But, by the end of her tenure, she heavily contributed to driving that capture rate up to over 60 percent. Following this, she developed through the first 10 years of her loan officer career, always as a mortgage originator, but gaining experience in support roles, processing, niche products and building on her success year over year. This base of experience prepared her for her position of authority at iLoan.
After her first year on the job as Production Manager for the top producing team nationwide, she oversaw a production increase of 42% year over year (an amazing accomplishment given that this was the worst year in the mortgage industry in the preceding 26 years). If that wasn’t impressive enough, she repeated that feat. The following year, she oversaw another production increase above and beyond her previous record to the tune of 45%. Year 3 of Katie’s leadership is yet unwritten and can’t yet be measured in this way but it is on pace to another record year. Through all of this, those that work immediately with her attest that they have had more fun working through these benchmarks than ever in their careers.
One might think that these are the achievements and accolades of an exclusively dedicated work-a-holic but her work is actually a distant third to her commitment to her immediate and extended family. Her self-sacrificing drive to enhance their happiness and future prospects is awe inspiring to anyone fortunate enough to witness her tireless efforts. She brings her impossibly high standards backed by an unyielding work ethic to all corners of her life. This ethos is a permanent extension of an even more vast richness of her character.
